FCB-EV9500M SONY Auto focus integrated camera MIPI output parameter protocol

SONY’s new autofocus integrated camera FCB-EV9500M, MIPI output interface, 30x enhanced optical zoom, compact size, using a larger 1/1.8 sensor.

The FCB-EV9500M’s main features include: high resolution, 30x enhanced optical zoom lens, 12x digital zoom, compact size, super image stabilization, high dynamic wide dynamic; 1/1.8 CMOS sensor; Resolution FHD (1920×1080); Video format 1080p/60, high sensitivity, super image stabilizer, flare reduction with new iris, color image acquisition during ICR-ON, point focus · point AE· point AWB, wide dynamic range (wide D), Visibility enhancer (VE).

Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) is an alliance established by ARM, Nokia, ST,TI and other companies in 2003. The purpose is to standardize the internal interfaces of mobile phones, such as camera, display interface, RF/baseband interface, etc. Thus reduce the complexity of mobile phone design and increase the flexibility of design.

There are different workgroups under the MIPI Alliance, which define a series of internal interface standards for mobile phones, such as camera interface CSI, display interface DSI, RF interface DigRF, microphone/speaker interface SLIMbus, etc.

The advantage of unified interface standards is that mobile phone manufacturers can flexibly choose different chips and modules from the market according to their needs, making it faster and easier to change designs and functions.

MIPI is a relatively new standard, and its specification is constantly modified and improved. At present, the mature interface applications include DSI(display interface) and CSI (camera interface). CSI/DSI respectively refers to that they carry complex protocol structures for Camera or Display applications.

1, 4M model: FCB-EW9500H (HDMI output),

2, the same size full HD model: FCB-EV9500M (MIPI output),

3, the same size full HD model: FCB-EV9500L (LVDS output).
