Device connection
The connection between SONY FCB-EV9520L and MIPI to IP interface board is relatively simple, and similar hardware connections have been popularized before, and will not be repeated here. However, it should be noted that the SONY FCB-EV9520L needs to be connected to the LVDS interface of the MIPI to IP interface board (the interface board is silk-printed as “LVDS Input”) in order to normally output images and perform related controls on the camera.
After the FCB-EV9520L is connected to the MIPI to IP interface board, insert the SD card into the interface board, and then power on the camera. If you see the camera lens has a telescopic action, this is the self-test process of the camera, indicating that the camera can start normally.
Software setup
1. Log in to the control page
After the SONY FCB-EV9520L integrated camera starts, access the computer desktop, open Internet Explorer, enter the IP address of the MIPI to IP interface board, and enter the user name and password to log in to the control screen.
In this step, it is important to note that the IE browser needs to be set to IE compatibility mode.
2. Format the SD card
In the left navigation click “storage Settings → storage management”, and then in the right content to select the disk to format, click “format” to start, formatting time is determined by the capacity of the SD card, if it is 256G and above, the time will be longer, it is recommended to format the SD card in advance.
3. Plan configuration
In the navigation tree on the left, click Storage Settings → Plan Configuration. In the Video Plan menu on the right, select Enable Video Plan.
Set Pre-record Time to No pre-record.
“Stream Type” Select “Main stream” (the video definition of the main stream is higher than that of the substream)
Remove the “√” in front of “off network video”, and check it to indicate that recording can only be started when the network is off.
Next is the setting of “defense time”, which is also more important.
Click “Edit” under “Deployment Time”, set “Monday” first, enter 00:00 for the start time, and 24:00 for the end time. Then check “Select All” at the lower left corner of the dialog box, click “Copy to” button, and click “OK” to exit. If all areas of “Deployment time” turn to “blue”, it indicates that the recording schedule is successfully scheduled. The SONY FCB-EV9500M all-in-one camera will start recording video according to your preset schedule.
