I. Basic concept of white balance

The purpose of setting or adjusting the white balance is to realize that the relevant components of the camera can quickly and accurately “recognize” white under various light conditions. Once the white is accurately identified, other colors under the same light conditions will obtain accurate tone performance.
So, even though it’s called “white balance,” it’s not just about getting an accurate representation of white, it’s also about getting an accurate representation of all colors, but using white, which is easiest for the human eye, as a baseline to get all colors in balance. 1. Automatic white balance
