However, to achieve the output of 3G-SDI video signals, additional hardware support and correct configuration are required. The following is to explain the detailed process of Tamron MP3010M-EV output 3G-SDI video signal.
1. Video output interface
Tamron MP3010M-EV camera module supports LVDS, HDMI and CVBS three video output modes, the existence of these interfaces provides great flexibility for the camera module, so that it can meet the video signal output needs in different application scenarios. But we usually use more LVDS interface, through the LVDS line to connect the interface board to other video signal output.
2. Compatibility design
Tamron MP3010M-EV camera module is seamlessly compatible with the SONY VISCA protocol, and it can seamlessly connect and communicate with a variety of interface boards and systems based on the SONY VISCA protocol. Such as 3G-SDI, MIPI to IP, HDMI, USB3.0 and other high-definition camera movement dedicated interface board. These interface boards provide image processing, video capture, conversion, transmission and related control functions for the camera module, and further expand the application scenario and flexibility of the Tamron MP3010M-EV camera module.
How to output 3G-SDI video signal
1. Connect 3G-SDI interface board
First, the Tamron MP3010M-EV camera module needs to be connected to the interface board supporting 3G-SDI coding through a 30Pin LVDS cable.
Then, using the SDI cable, the 3G-SDI interface board is connected to the display device.
Finally, the 3G-SDI interface board needs to be connected to the DC 12V 1A power supply.
After power, the lens of the Tamron MP3010M-EV camera module will make a telescopic action, which is the normal self-test process for the camera to start.
2. Set parameters
After the connection is completed, the necessary parameters need to be configured for the Tamron MP3010M-EV camera module and 3G-SDI interface board. This includes setting the video output format, resolution, frame rate and other parameters, if these parameters of the two are not the same, it is likely to be unable to output images normally, such as, Tamron MP3010M-EV image format set to 1080P60, 3G-SDI interface board image format set to 720P60, you can not output images normally.
After the normal output of the image, you can adjust the corresponding parameters according to your own needs, but the parameters set by the camera and the interface board should be consistent.
3. Start output
After completing the parameter configuration, the Tamron MP3010M-EV camera module and 3G-SDI interface board can be powered on to automatically identify and output 3G-SDI video signals. These signals can be directly used for subsequent video acquisition, conversion and transmission.
4. Relevant control
Tamron MP3010M-EV camera module, after connecting 3G-SDI interface board, it can be controlled by external buttons, TTL232 and RS485, such as zoom, focus, gain, white balance, etc.
To sum up, the Tamron MP3010M-EV camera module can easily realize the output of 3G-SDI video signals by connecting the 3G-SDI interface board. This makes it in the UAV, security monitoring, industrial automation and other fields have a wide range of application prospects and strong competitiveness.
