High sensitivity

Improved visibility at low light using the latest image sensors

SONY FCB-EV9520L uses new pixel unit structure and circuit technology to make efficient use of light and achieve twice the sensitivity of traditional image sensors. As a result, clear images can be captured even at night and in dark environments.

FCB-EV9520L Image Conparison

New pixel cell structureThe new pixel unit structure of SONY FCB-EV9520L uses diffractive photobooks and has a deeper photodiode layer than the traditional pixel unit structure. The longer optical path length increases the absorption efficiency of long-wavelength light, thus achieving high sensitivity.

Image stabilization

Smooth and stable images are obtained even under extreme conditions

The SONY FCB-EV9520L captures high-precision video with reduced blur, even in harsh environments with strong vibration, with greatly improved blur suppression and image stabilization. It is equipped with “S” and “S+” modes. Available in full HD (Fu11 HD) or HD (HD) output

Comparison of image stabilization performance between FCB-EV9520L and FCB-EV7520

S

Conventional electronic stabilization uses a larger correction area to suppress strong jitter

S+

By using a larger correction area than the “S file “, the “S+ file “can suppress strong image shake beyond the “S file” capability.

compatibility

Easy to replace traditional 1/2.8 “models

The SONY FCB-EV9520L has the same size housing as the traditional FCB-EV7520 series, making it easy to replace *. In addition, LVDS output pin definitions are compatible. Move the lens down about 2mm.

FCB-EV7520 and FCB-EV9520L Main Functions Comparison

Excellent auto-aggregation (AF) performance

SONY’s proprietary AF algorithm delivers both zoom and focus

FCB-EV9520L Advanced AF Performance

Spot Focus · Spot Automatic Exposure (Spot AE) · Spot Automatic White Balance (SPOT AWB)

Enable AF, AE, and AWB functions only in designated areas within the screen. Allows any rectangle to be set independently as an area of interest/reference in a 6×8 coordinate grid within the screen. For example, if you specify the subject position with Spot AE, even if the brightness changes outside the frame of the specified area, it will not affect the automatic exposure level of the SONY FCB-EV9520L so that the image cannot be captured in the specified area.

Color image acquisition in sensitive infrared mode

On conventional models, when the camera removes the infrared cutoff filter in the lens, only black and white images can be obtained when the camera senses infrared light.

The SONY FCB-EV9520L’s new sensitive infrared color mode feature enables the camera to capture color photos even with the infrared cut-off filter removed,

In infrared mode, the SONY FCB-EV9520L can still have color visibility in dark environments.

* The accuracy of color reproduction depends on different light sources and ambient brightness.

Wide dynamic (Wide-D)

Wide-D mode is a mode that can be divided into several areas of the image to improve the brightness of the dark area and reduce the brightness of the bright area, so as to reconcile the sharp contrast of light and dark in the image. It makes it possible to capture more visible images in highly contrasting environments, even if the subject has a strong contrast, such as a backlight or a local area containing a particularly bright shooting area.

Other functions

Visibility Enhancer (VE)

Depending on the image scene, the visibility enhancement feature makes the medium and dark parts of the SONY FCB-EV9520L image brighter and automatically corrects brightness and contrast to show the bright parts more clearly.

Low focal plane distortion, jelly effect distortion of the image

The SONY FCB-EV9520L reduces image distortion that occurs when capturing fast moving subjects.

Fog penetration (low/medium/high)

When there is fog around the subject and the contrast is low, the fog through mode will reduce the effect of fog and make the subject appear clearer. The SONY FCB-EV9520L can be selected from four gears: Off, Low, medium and high. The effect of screen adjustment can be automatically adjusted according to the concentration of fog.

Picture noise reduction

The noise reduction feature of the SONY FCB-EV9520L removes screen noise (random and non-random) to provide a sharper image.

Privacy occlusion

The Privacy Occlusion feature of the SONY FCB-EV9520L protects private privacy objects and areas, such as the Windows, entrances and exits of the house, from the camera’s field of view, but can not be monitored. The privacy area can be shielded on the monitor to protect privacy.

* You can set up to 8 privacy blocking areas in the screen.

* Each occluded area can be individually set to display or not.

StableZoom (StableZoom™)

“StableZoom” is used to correct the performance of the anti-shake function at different zoom multiples when turned on, by using a combination of optical zoom and digital zoom, the SONY FCB-EV9520L can zoom smoothly up to 36x.

Image effect

SONY FCB-EV9520L image effects are image flip, image freeze, black and white (gray scale image)

Automatic day/night mode conversion (automatic switching of infrared filter)

SONY FCB-EV9520L’s automatic Day/Night conversion mode automatically adjusts the relevant Settings to adjust the removal or addition of the infrared cut-off filter. At the set darkness level, the infrared cut-off filter is automatically removed (ICR is turned on) to improve the infrared sensitivity of the camera. Upon reaching a set brightness level, the infrared cut-off filter is automatically added (ICR off), and on systems equipped with infrared lights, the internal data of the SONY FCB-EV9520L enables the system to make the right decision to avoid failure. The automatic day/night switch function works in Full Auto exposure mode. When you set the mode to Auto ICR co1or, the ICR is turned on to color mode and colors are displayed.

Point source avoidance

SONY FCB-EV9520L This function can avoid auto-focus (AF) and one-click auto-focus (0ne push AF) failure when shooting targets with bright point light sources, such as outdoor lights. For example, when using a security camera to shoot an outdoor scene, due to the influence of outdoor bright lights and other point light sources in the picture, the camera may not be able to automatically focus on a clear picture, in this case you can use this function to reduce the impact of the light, so that AF/0ne push AF mode can focus clearly on the target.

Focusing mode

The focus modes of the SONY FCB-EV9520L include: Autofocus (normal autofocus, interval autofocus, zoom trigger autofocus [Sensitivity: Normal, low]), manual (standard, variable, Direct), one-click trigger, full-scan one-click trigger, near-limit, ICR-on correction, and point autofocus.

Automatic exposure

SONY FCB-EV9520L auto exposure includes automatic, manual, priority mode (shutter priority & aperture priority), EV compensation, slow AE, point auto exposure and other modes.

White balance

SONY FCB-EV9520L white balance includes automatic, ATW, indoor, outdoor, one-click WB, manual WB, outdoor automatic, sodium vapor lamp (fixed/automatic/outdoor automatic), point automatic white balance and other modes.

Motion Detection (MD)

This feature of the SONY FCB-EV9520L can detect movement of objects in the monitored area of the screen and automatically send an alert.

Custom Preset

The shooting Settings of the SONY FCB-EV9520L can be saved and invoked. The saved Settings can be automatically invoked when the camera is powered on and started.

Preset bit

When using this feature there are 16 sets of camera shooting Settings parameter data can be saved and invoked. Instead of setting the status of the SONY FCB-EV9520L each time, you can quickly invoke the pre-saved Settings to achieve the desired Settings.

Temperature reading

The internal temperature of the SONY FCB-EV9520L can be read from the temperature sensor on the circuit board as a reference.
